Jennifer Lopez Shops with Emme Before 'Idol' Auditions Begin

Jennifer Lopez goes shopping with her five-year-old daughter Emme at a local Gymboree store on Sunday (September 1) in Calabasas, Calif.

The 44-year-old entertainer was seen grabbing Emme‘s ponytail when she almost ran into the middle of the road. Good save!

Jennifer had to fly out to Boston shortly after because the auditions for American Idol in front of the judges are starting TODAY (September 2). Can’t wait to see how this new panel works together.
