Miley Cyrus‘ first performance of the evening during her appearance on Saturday Night Live was of her most recent hit single “Wrecking Ball”!

The 20-year-old entertainer was more covered up than she has been in a while, wearing a football jersey for the performance.

Miley appeared in the cold open during the beginning of the show and mocked her much talked about VMAs performance. She then delivered a shorter than usual opening monologue after the lengthy cold open sketch.
