Lorde Performs with Nirvana at Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony!
Lorde poses backstage at the 2014 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony held on Thursday (April 10) at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
There were four women that joined the living members of Nirvana on stage to perform with them and help induct them into the Hall of Fame.
Lorde was the youngest of the women and performed “All Apologies.” Joan Jett sang “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” Sonic Youth vocalist Kim Gordon took on “Aneurysm,” and St. Vincent performed “Lithium.” The ladies were joined by bassist Krist Novoselic, drummer Dave Grohl, and guitarist Pat Smear.
Something interesting to note is that Lorde was born two years after the band’s lead singer Kurt Cobain passed away.
FYI: Lorde is wearing a Vionnet tuxedo.
