The Shield's Michael Jace Charged with Homicide After Wife Shot to Death

Michael Jace, best known for his role on The Shield, has been charged with homicide after allegedly shooting his wife April at her south Los Angeles home on Monday evening (May 19).

The 48-year-old actor was booked early this morning and taken into custody by the police, CNN reports.

It is still unclear why his 40-year-old wife was shot to death.

Besides for his work on The Shield, Michael has also had roles on television shows including Southland, Private Practice, The Mentalist, Burn Notice and NYPD Blue.
