I loved it! They talked about his amazing talent and genius. In my country all they focus on is the fact he committed suicide and his depression… This interview was tasteful, an amazing tribute <3
RIP Robin Williams

I met Robin when I worked at a Starbucks in downtown Denver. I could tell it was him in line, but he didn’t want to be recognized by the way he was dressed. He was about the 4th customer in line. When he got to me, he ordered a dopio macchiato. I took a chance. I whispered to him, “I know who you are and it’s a pleasure to meet you.” He simply said, “Whatever.” I felt my heart deflate. When he was waiting for his coffee, two gals screamed, “Robin Williams! Oh my God!” Off went his hat and coat. Out came Robin Williams! I, then, went to shake his hand and said, again, “It’s a pleasure to meet you.” He said, “And you.” My heart blew up! Some moments in life a person will never forget. I kept the receipt from that day, but will never forget the memory of shaking Robin William’s hand. He had on his rings and it was a bit hairy:-) I was willing to keep his secret, and get him in and out. But….
He will be missed by many. He couldn’t go anywhere without getting recognized for the genius he was.

@Sherry: Lucky you Sherry. He seemed like a great person that I would’ve loved to have as a friend. I’m sorry to learn how much he struggled with addiction and depression for decades. May his soul find that peace and happiness it’s been searching for.
