Cate Blanchett Returns to Australia After 'Jungle Book' Casting News!

Cate Blanchett is all smiley as she arrives at the airport after a long flight on Sunday (August 24) in Sydney, Australia.

The 45-year-old Oscar winning actress just wrapped up a production of The Maids in New York City and is now back in her home country.

It was just recently announced that Cate will be joining the cast of Jungle Book: Origins as the voice of one of the animals Kaa, a sinister python, THR reports.

Christian Bale, Naomie Harris, Tom Hollander, Eddie Marsan Peter Mullan, and Benedict Cumberbatch are also part of the cast.
