Hospital Releases Statement After Joan Rivers' Health Scare

Joan Rivers was rushed to the hospital this morning (August 28) getting into a scary situation during surgery where she stopped breathing.

“This morning, Joan Rivers was taken to The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, where she is being attended to. Her family wants to thank everybody for their outpouring of love and support,” Sid Dinsay, a spokesman for Mount Sinai Hospital, said in a statement (via USA Today). “We will provide an update on her condition as it becomes available.”

Joan was just recently upgraded to stable condition after being listed as critical.
