Jimmy Fallon Takes Tumble at Harvard, Rushes to Hospital

Jimmy Fallon made a trip to Massachusetts General Hospital after falling at a Harvard University event on Saturday (October 24) in Cambridge, Mass.

The 41-year-old late-night host was being honored with the Elmer Award for Excellence in Humor by the Harvard Lampoon, the school’s humor magazine, when he tripped and fell with a bottle of Jaegermeister in his hand.

According to People, “everything is totally fine” and “it was all part of the celebration in the street and some random girl kneeled down in front of him abruptly as he was turning around and he tripped over her because he didn’t see her.”

Jimmy went to the ground, and everybody asked if he was OK,” one parade goer told the mag. “He said he was fine.”

The Cambridge Police reportedly helped him up before he headed to get checked out by a doctor. An Instagram user posted the video, which you can see below.

In case you don’t remember, Jimmy nearly severed his finger earlier this year.

Here’s to a speedy recovery!
