Melissa Benoist's 'Supergirl' Gets Full Season Order from CBS

Congratulations are in order for Melissa Benoist and the full cast and crew of CBS’ Supergirl – the new series has been picked up for a full season!

The superhero show will get a full season of 20 episodes and this marks the fourth and final new CBS series to get a full pickup following Life in Pieces, Limitless, and Code Black.

Supergirl – which also stars Mehcad Brooks, Chyler Leigh, Jeremy Jordan, David Harewood and Calista Flockhart – has been averaging 11.24 million viewers. The show has helped the network improve upon its ratings by 46% in the time period versus last year.
