Let’s hope that Tom opens a Twitter account for Section 13 as Katie, a friend, and I were discussing hashtags and the importance of stars having Twitter accounts for their shows, and this is her take.
“The networks counts them (hashtags) towards ratings for each weekly episodes. That’s why so many stars live tweet.
It would be very helpful for when his show does air (to have a Twitter account). If you watch the CW Arrow and/or Flash and many of their other shows. They trend every week because the fans know that it helps their ratings. Sometime the stars live tweet and sometimes the writers are live tweeting. Now the fans just know they’ve got to tweet reactions and stuff about the episodes. It’s fun!!”
