When Does 'Star Wars: Episode 8' Come Out in Theaters?
Now that millions of people around the world have seen Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the anticipation for Episode VIII has already begun!
Fans of the franchise have not just one more movie to look forward to, but FIVE more.
Episode VIII is going to be released in theaters on May 26, 2017 while Episode IX is expected to hit theaters sometime in 2019. Make sure to read everything we know about Episode 8 so far!
Before we get more movies in the trilogy, Rogue One starring Felicity Jones will be released on December 16, 2016. The film takes place between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope and follows a group of Rebel Alliance soldiers on a daring mission to steal the original Death Star plans.
Another movie that you can look forward to is the young Han Solo movie, which does not yet have a title, but is currently being cast. Hundreds of young actors have reportedly been seen for the lead role already!
Lastly, it is rumored that a Boba Fett movie is going to be released in 2020, though it has not yet been confirmed.
