Celine Dion's Brother Daniel Dead at 59

In incredibly sad news, Celine Dion‘s brother Daniel has passed away after a battle with cancer, just days after the passing of Celine‘s husband René.

The 59-year-old brother of the singer passed away at 5 a.m. on Saturday (January 16) surrounded by family, according to E! News.

“He was ready and he no longer suffers. It was serene,” Celine‘s sister Claudette told Le Journal de Montréal in a translation.

Daniel was one of Celine‘s 13 siblings.
