Chris Rock Hasn't Planned His Oscars 2016 Monologue Yet

Chris Rock has not yet planned what he will be addressing in his monologue at the 2016 Oscars despite the show’s producer claiming he’d tackle the #OscarsSoWhite controversy.

The 50-year-old comedian’s rep has responded to reports that Chris rewrote his speech after the nominations were announced.

“Regarding Reggie Hudlin‘s comments about Chris Rock‘s Oscar hosting duties, neither he nor anyone else speaks for Chris,” his rep told JustJared.com in a statement. “Chris has made no decisions about the content of the show. All will be revealed on February 28th. We will not comment further on this.”

Here is what Reggie originally said to ET: “Chris is hard at work. He and his writing staff locked themselves in a room. As things got a little provocative and exciting, he said, ‘I’m throwing out the show I wrote and writing a new show.’”
