The Peanuts Movie – In a world where all our CG animated films have bold smooth colors, The Peanuts Movie is a welcome break as an animated movie. Capturing Charles Schulz’s beloved Peanuts comic strip, the newly released full-length animated film features Good ‘Ol Charlie Brown as he falls for the Little Red-Haird Girl who moves into his neighborhood In classic Peanuts fashion, we see Charlie Brown struggle to do anything to impress the new classmate, and of course we watch him fail spectacularly.

The film does a great job of paying homage to the classic comic strip. And those that grew up watching the animated classics on television, will appreciate the same characters shining in glorious HD and CG animation.

Notable extras in this release include drawing lessons for Snoopy, Woodstock, and Charlie Brown, along with a few music videos by none other than Meghan Trainor.

Overall the film is a great tribute to Charles Shculz’s classic that is just a solid retelling of the classic Charlie Brown tales.
