Sam Smith's Former School Will End Its Music Program

Sam Smith steps out in a baggy sweater and jeans cut off at the ankle for a stroll around the neighborhood on Monday (May 16) in London, England.

The 23-year-old singer got his education at St. Mary’s Catholic School in the suburbs of London and the school has decided to end its music program.

Only three students chose to study music next year, so the school unfortunately cannot extend enough resources for the program.

“We have already committed to support them through curriculum-time music tuition so that their studies can continue and we remain very focused on all the performing arts,” Headmaster Andrew Celano said (via BBC).
