'The Little Mermaid' Live-Action Film In Consideration By Disney

Disney executives are reportedly mulling the idea of bringing The Little Mermaid to the big screen once again in a live action remake!

Disney saw lots of success with the 1989 cartoon version, and execs are deciding whether or not to proceed with the idea, Deadline reports.

Emma Watson‘s live-action Beauty and the Beast teaser was viewed 92 million times in the first 24 hours, which equates to more 1 day views that the Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser and the Captain America: Civil War teaser.

This live action The Little Mermaid would be different from the current Chloe Moretz production, which is in the works with another studio.
