Jamie Lynn Spears Tearfully Talks About Getting Pregnant at 16

Jamie Lynn Spears opens up about getting pregnant at the young age of 16 in a new promo for her upcoming TLC special, When the Lights Go Out.

The 25-year-old entertainer breaks down in tears while discussing the moment she learned that she was going to have a baby with ex-fiance Casey Aldridge.

“They said, ‘Yes, you’re pregnant,’” Jamie Lynn says in the promo. “I look back now, and I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh.’”

“I wanna do something that I’m gonna be proud of,” Jamie Lynn adds in the clip. “I’m not just a child star. I’m not just someone’s sister. And I’m not just a teen mom.”
