Celebs React to Donald Trump Admitting He Uses Federal Tax Loophole
Donald Trump admitted during the second presidential debate that he has used federal tax loopholes to pay less taxes and celebs are reacting to his comments.
After a question about taxes, Andersoon Cooper followed up by bringing up the three pages of Trump‘s 1995 tax return that were released recently and showed he had a $916 million loss.
“Did you use that multimillion dollar loss to avoid paying federal income taxes,” he asked.
“Of course I do. And so do all of her donors, or most of her donors. I know many of her donors. Her donors took massive tax write offs. A lot of my write off was depreciation of the things that Hillary, Senator, allowed. To always allow because it will give her all the money, they wanted. That’s why,” Trump said.
When asked to say how many years he has avoided paying personal federal income taxes, he said, “No. But I pay tax, and I pay federal tax too. But I have a write-off. A lot of it is depreciation, which is a wonderful charge. I love depreciation. You know, she’s given it to us.”
