Naomi Watts Opens Up About Splitting with Longtime Partner Liev Schrieber, Says Change is 'Scary'

Naomi Watts is opening up for the first time on breaking up with longtime partner Liev Schrieber.

The 48-year-old actress recently shared that she is in a “good place” after the split.

“I feel I’m in a good place in my life and I want to make sure my kids are healthy, my kids are happy and things are going to go well,” Naomi said. “Those are my hopes for me and for all of us.”

Naomi and Liev split back in September after being together for nearly 11 years. They share two sons together – Sasha, 9, and Samuel, 7.

Since splitting, the two have remained friendly. Back in October, Naomi stepped out to support Liev at the opening of his Broadway play.

In the interview, Naomi went on to say that this new transition was at first “scary” for her to get used to.

“I feel like change is always scary, but that’s only because transition for anyone is new and you wonder how things are going to go,” Naomi said.
