This Is Us' Justin Hartley Writes Message About Alan Thicke After Death

Alan Thicke had a cameo role in the first episode of NBC’s This Is Us, and his co-star in the ep, Justin Hartley, is reacting to his tragic death.

“When you meet one of your idols and they are even nicer and cooler than you hoped they would be. That was @Alan_Thicke. Rest in peace,” Justin wrote on Twitter, along with a selfie of the two of them together.

Alan passed away on Tuesday (December 13) while playing hockey with his 19-year-old son Carter. He died from an apparent heart attack.
