Tyga Taken Into Police Custody, Investigated for Possible DUI

Tyga was handcuffed by LAPD in the early morning hours of Wednesday (April 12).

The 27-year-old rapper was driving his Mercedes G-Series after a night at Avenue Nightclub when police pulled him over because his car had paper plates.

Tyga was taken down to the station for a DUI investigation, though it was found he was sober. He was released with a moving violation ticket, TMZ reports.

There are reports that Tyga was actually arrested, but it’s unclear if he was arrested, or just taken into custody at this time.
