Katy Perry Praises Taylor Swift for Political Instagram Posts

Katy Perry is sharing her thoughts on Taylor Swift‘s recent political Instagram posts!

The 33-year-old “Roar” singer has nothing but praise for the 28-year-old “Look What You Made Me Do” crooner’s decision to break her political silence earlier this month.

“She’s setting a great example,” Katy, who has been outspoken about politics in the past, told Variety on Thursday night (October 18) at the amfAR Gala Los Angeles, where Katy received a Courage Award.

ICYMI, Taylor has endorsed two Tennessee democrats on Instagram, and she shared another important message about voting in another post.

Katy was also one of the first to “like” Taylor‘s initial post.

While the two have had some bad blood in the past, Katy reached out by sending Taylor an olive branch and a letter in May ahead of Taylor‘s Reputation tour.
