Nicki Minaj Corrects Steve Madden After He Says She's Lying

Nicki Minaj has patched up her feud with fellow rapper Cardi B, but now she has beef with shoe designer Steve Madden to deal with.

While feuding with Cardi, Nicki brought up a deal that she was offered to work on with Madden. She wrote, “Same thing with Steve Madden. Irv Gotti asked me to do that deal several times. I passed. You never hear me talking bout things like this. 🤣 she rlly thought she was doing smthn talking about turning down deals.”

Madden tried to discredit Nicki and tweeted, “.@NICKIMINAJ you can’t turn down an offer that was never made. #StopLying.”

Adelle Platon, the writer of a 2015 article about Madden, chimed in and revealed how the designer actually talked about the deal in her interview.

“I was gonna do a collaboration with Nicki Minaj and we got into a fight the first minute we met,” Madden said in August 2015. “And then we patched it up. We were cool. We text each other, we became sort of buddies. We were thinking of doing something, and I would’ve, but I was with Iggy and I thought, ‘Coke and Pepsi.’ It was a mistake. I made a mistake and I wish that I could go back in time and work with Nicki instead of Iggy.”

50 Cent and Iggy Azalea both stood up for Nicki and shared the quote.

“🤔 @SteveMadden thought I was lying you dumb f–k. You, Irv & Gee Roberson came to my house in MALIBU BEGGING me to do the deal. I said no. You then did a deal w/Iggy & she hated the pics you used & went in on you online. Im sure Irv told you to post this lie. Respond to @50cent,” Nicki wrote.
