Idris Elba Hosts The Parrot Grand Opening With Matthew McConaughey & Benedict Cumberbatch

Idris Elba helped celebrate the grand opening of his new bar!

The 46-year-old actor, who was just named Sexiest Man Alive, hosted the event on Thursday night (November 9) at The Parrot at The Waldorf Hilton in London, England.

Idris was joined by his fiancée Sabrina Dhowre as well as pals Benedict Cumberbatch, Matthew McConaughey and his wife Camila Alves.

Other attendees included Woody Harrelson and Liam Payne.

The Parrot is a creative collaboration between the hotel and Idris as well as Lee and Nicky Caulfield. The group was inspired by the history of the building and the exoticism of its historic Palm Court.

During the event, guests enjoyed a selection of The Parrot’s signature premium tropical cocktails and ate vibrant canapes, served on repurposed seashells.
