Jamie Lynn Spears Says 'Zoey 101' Didn't End Because She Got Pregnant

It looks like Jamie Lynn Spears is still trying to clear up a common misconception about her former hit TV show Zoey 101.

It’s been generally assumed by lots of fans of the show that the show ended because Jamie Lynn got pregnant with her now 10-year-old daughter Maddie during the show’s run. The final episode of the show aired in May of 2008 and Maddie was born in June of that same year.

Jamie reposted a Zoey 101 image on Instagram in honor of the 14th anniversary of the show with the caption, “Are you ready? 14 years later…still a jam…,” and included the hashtags, “It did NOT end because of pregnancy” and “contract was finished.”

It looks like the show ended because Jamie Lynn, now 27, didn’t re-up her contract.
