Ryan Gosling 'Felt So Lucky' Filming Neil Armstrong's Legendary Walk on the Moon in 'First Man'!
Ryan Gosling happily flashes a smile alongside his co-star Claire Foy while attending a Q&A following the Variety Screening Series of First Man held at Arclight Hollywood on Wednesday (January 9) in Los Angeles.
The 38-year-old actor and the 34-year-old actress were joined at the event by their director Damien Chazelle, screenwriter Josh Singer and composer Justin Hurwitz.
Ryan and Claire spoke about playing Neil and Janet Armstrong and shared their experiences meeting the Armstrong family members in order to prepare for their roles.
Ryan shared how so much incredible work had been done to recreate the experience in space: “It was beyond surreal,” he told the L.A Times. “They did such an incredible job of sculpting the lunar surface. They were playing the actual communications from mission control. It was an unforgettable experience. I felt so lucky to be having it, a little selfish to be having it.”
