Tyrese Gibson posted a picture with director Daniel Espinosa on Instagram on Thursday (May 2).

“On set in London, UK standing next to a man who is brilliant beyond…… Our director Daniel Espinosa!! Over our first private dinner we both talked about and was singing the praises of a real one… Denzel Washington DanieL directed Denzel in the film SAFE HOUSE!!!! The upcoming movie, a Spider-Man Universe spinoff starring Jared Leto, is based on Morbius the Living Vampire. Dr. Michael Morbius (Leto) is a biochemist who attempts to cure a fatal blood disease by injecting himself with a treatment serum derived from bats. In becoming Morbius, he has all the qualities of a vampire — including a taste for human blood.

The movie is set to hit theaters on July 31, 2020.
