Keri Russell Says Doing Broadway Debut Is 'Still Crazy To Me'

Keri Russell stopped by Late Night with Seth Meyers on Monday night (May 6) and dished all about her Broadway debut in the revival of Lanford Wilson‘s Burn This!

The 43-year-old actress stars opposite Adam Driver, who is nominated for a Tony Award for the role, in the limited engagement running between now and its July 14 closing.

“Who would do this?” Keri joked. “I’m sure musical theatre is much more fun, but to go and cry and get yelled at every night… It’s still crazy to me. I have immense respect for people who do it… a beer helps.”

Keri also spoke about getting used to how audiences react in the audience: “It really affects your performance,” she said. “Sometimes you’ll have a really loud drunk call that when Adam comes on they’re like catcalling. Sometimes they’re very thoughtful and listening, like a matinee crowd.”
