Thank you, @GameOfThrones. Thank you for a decade of wonder. Of pain. Of anguish. Of suspense. Of joy. Of worry. Of passion. Of belief. Of fellowship. Of Hope. Of Sorrow. Of Surprise. Of celebration. Of defeat. Thank you for the journey. Thank you for it all.#GoT #GameOfThrones

Before y’all start trying to say GOT is “bad writing”…the writers of it have a billion dollars and literally all of your tweets are misspelled. #GOT7

Loved that ending. Loved it. So complicated, surprising, moving. Thank you, @GameOfThrones, for a decade of some of the best story telling we’ve ever seen.

Please use the #GOT hashtag when complaining about the wrong person being in power because if you don’t specify it just sounds like you’re talking about the actual news

My next tweet is a #GOT finale spoiler so don’t look here if you are working the late shift and are gonna watch tomorrow.
Oh also and get the fuck off Twitter it’s a minefield of spoilers forever.— Dane Cook (@DaneCook) May 20, 2019
Wow. So now there's a gapping hole where my @GameOfThrones was…
Congratulations to everyone involved in one of television's greatest undertakings, and for bringing us so much joy over the years. You should all be proud.

Oh and after a really really rough couple of episodes, I think they executed the ending as well as could be expected. I could only imagine how hard it must be to try and live up to the expectation. I was worried, but it was a surprising, human way to finish. @GameOfThrones

Just finished the #GameofThrones finale and…. I have opinions
— Brant Daugherty (@brantdaugherty) May 20, 2019
Honestly that was one of the sloppiest episodes of television I’ve ever seen. A complete mishandling of almost every character and storyline. No emotional stakes or sense of structure whatsoever. It’s almost remarkable how much I hated it.
— Brant Daugherty (@brantdaugherty) May 20, 2019
The climax of the episode happens a third of the way through (although really the climax of the show was 3 episodes ago) and then it’s all slow bumbling resolution with no discernible direction or larger thematic point of view
— Brant Daugherty (@brantdaugherty) May 20, 2019
Honestly this was just the worst way to approach a last season and it’s exactly what I was fearing they would do. The climactic fight with the white walkers and the struggle for the iron throne should never have been separated like this. It makes them both feel anticlimactic
— Brant Daugherty (@brantdaugherty) May 20, 2019
The fight with the white walkers never feels dire because there’s still 3 episodes left afterwards. So we know it’s not “the end.” Then the battle is won and there’s nothing left to do but march on Kings Landing. It’s inevitable and we (mostly) know where it’s heading
— Brant Daugherty (@brantdaugherty) May 20, 2019
I don’t dislike where the show ended up, to be fair. I just feel this was an anti climatic and uninteresting way of getting there. What did you all think??
— Brant Daugherty (@brantdaugherty) May 20, 2019
I watched my first episode ever of #got and recapped on IGTV see my latest post and hilarious #drunkhistory type video https://t.co/OdfDfEC7tX

Well, I didn’t think it could get any worse… but then it did. This doesn’t bode well for Star Wars. #GameofThrones

The silhouette of Sansa’s final gown made it all worth it, I guess. Condragulations, my dear.

Is this how my parents felt after the OJ Simpson verdict was announced? #GameOfTrones #finale
