Vanessa Kirby & Jason Statham's Age Difference in 'Hobbs & Shaw' Is Amusing Their Fans
The new movie Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw is topping the box office this weekend and one thing that fans can’t stop talking about is the age difference between co-stars Vanessa Kirby and Jason Statham.
Vanessa was introduced to the franchise as Hattie Shaw, the sister of Jason‘s character Deckard Shaw. In real life, she is 31 years old and he is 52.
There are plenty of siblings in the world who have a 21-year age gap, but the problem in this movie is that there are flashback scenes where the two characters are seen as children together. If they have a two decade gap in age, there’s no way they were children at the same time!

Despite all of the unbelievable things in #hobbsandshaw what bothered me most is that Jason Stathan’s (real age 52 but looks 62) character is apparently suppose to be close in age to Vanessa Kirby’s (real age 31 but looks 21) character since they are shown as children together.
