Todd Chrisley & Wife Julie Indicted on Tax Evasion & More

Chrisley Knows Best reality stars Todd and Julie Chrisley have been issued a 12-count indictment, which includes charges of wire fraud and conspiracy to defraud the United States.

The reality series follows the lives of the Chrisleys and their children. Todd is billed as the “patriarch of perfection.”

The Chrisley family account Peter Tarantino was also charged by a federal grand jury in Georgia, according to NBC News.

Todd took to Instagram to release a statement in which he says he and Julie have done nothing wrong. He also blamed a former employee of stealing from the family and retaliating by delivering “phony documents” to the U.S. attorney’s office.

“[W]e have nothing to hide and have done nothing to be ashamed of,” Todd said. “Not only do we know we’ve done nothing wrong, but we’ve got a ton of hard evidence and a bunch of corroborating witnesses that proves it.”
