Lydia Hearst Looks Unrecognizable on the Set of 'Root Letter'

Lydia Hearst has officially joined the cast of Root Letter!

The 35-year-old actress looked unrecognizable in new photos from the set of the film, which is based on the video game developed by Kadakowa Games.

The film will follow a protagonist in search of a former pen pal who disappears under curious circumstances.

Lydia is playing the role of Karen, a volatile and unstable mother who is emotionally tortured and desperately addicted to heroin.

When sober, Karen is overwhelmed with violent jealousy and ambivalence toward her daughter but and when she’s high she shows he love in toxic and abusive ways.

The film also stars Danny Ramirez and Keana Marie.
