Sacha Baron Cohen Films Protest Scene for New Movie 'Trial of the Chicago 7'

Sacha Baron Cohen is hard at work on his new movie!

The 48-year-old actor spent the afternoon filming a protest scene for the upcoming The Trial of the Chicago 7 on Tuesday (October 15) in Chicago, Ill.

The Trial of the Chicago 7 is about “anti-war activists such as Abbie Hoffman, Jerry Rubin and Tom Hayden, who were accused by the federal government of conspiracy and incitement to riot because of the protests surrounding the 1968 Democratic National Convention,” THR reports.

The film directed by Aaron Sorkin also stars Eddie Redmayne and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

Back in December of last year, it was reported that production for the movie was temporarily shut down due to “budgetary concerns,” but filming soon started back up again.
