Scorpion King 2 actor Michael Copon auditioned to play a buffer Jacob Black in Twilight: New Moon (the second film in the series). The role eventually was given back to Taylor Lautner, who originated the role in the first movie. Taylor Lautner‘s involvement in the second film was not a given until it was shown that he could put on enough muscle mass for the movie.
