Celebrity Deaths in 2020 - Remembering The Stars We've Lost

Chef Floyd Cardoz

Floyd Cardoz, who won season three of Top Chef Masters, has reportedly passed away from Coronavirus at the age of 59. He was admitted to a New York area hospital last week with a fever and posted on Instagram to let fans know.

“Sincere apologies everyone. I am sorry for causing undue panic around my earlier post. I was feeling feverish and hence as a precautionary measure, admitted myself into hospital in New York. I was hugely anxious about my state of health and my post was highly irresponsible causing panic in several quarters. I returned to New York on March 8th via Frankfurt,” Floyd posted on Instagram before his late March death.

Joe Diffie

The 61-year-old country star died on Sunday (March 29). He was the first major country star to disclose his diagnosis days before.

“Grammy-winning country music legend Joe Diffie passed away today, Sunday, March 29, from complications of coronavirus (COVID-19). His family respects their privacy at this time,” a spokesperson confirmed.
