Jennifer Lopez's 'Marry Me' Movie Pushed Back to 2022

Fans will be waiting a lot longer for Jennifer Lopez‘s upcoming movie Marry Me.

The romantic comedy was originally scheduled to be released in theaters this weekend, but then it was pushed to May 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Now, Universal Pictures has made the decision to push the film to February 11, 2022, which means it will be in theaters for Valentine’s Day weekend.

The movie follows two music superstars, played by JLo and Maluma, who are getting married in front of an audience of fans. When she learns just seconds before her vows that he has been unfaithful, she decides to marry a random stranger in the crowd, played by Owen Wilson.

Kat Coiro directed the film and it will feature original music from both singers.
