Misan Harriman, The Photographer Who Took Meghan Markle & Prince Harry's Pregnancy Reveal Photo, Speaks Out

The photographer who snapped Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s now iconic pregnancy reveal photograph is opening up in a new interview with British Vogue.

Misan Harriman spoke to the publication about being chosen by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to capture the moment.

“To be asked to help share this absolute joy after such an unimaginable loss and heartache is a marker of true friendship,” Misan shared, revealing that he could also be called a matchmaker. “Meg reminded me that had I not introduced her to a mutual friend then she wouldn’t have met Harry. I’m grateful for whatever small part I played.”

Misan went on, focusing on the photograph he took on an iPad from his home in London, to theirs in Montecito, Calif.

“With the tree of life behind them and the garden representing fertility, life and moving forward, they didn’t need any direction, because they are, and always have been, waltzing through life together as absolute soulmates,” he said.

Meghan and Harry revealed the news on Valentine’s Day, which mirrored his own announcement.

Harry‘s parents, the late Princess Diana and Prince Charles, also revealed they were pregnant with him on Valentine’s Day in 1984.
