Jodie Turner-Smith Curates New Photo Spread for MatchesFashion, Talks Pregnancy Style

Jodie Turner-Smith is starring in a new photo spread for MatchesFashion and she curated the piece!

The 34-year-old Queen & Slim actress collaborated with photographer Frankie Mark and stylist Petra Flannery for the new shoot, which took place in California.

In a Q&A for the piece, Jodie talked about her appreciation for her body after welcoming her first child with husband Joshua Jackson last year.

“I remember feeling my womb for the first time after I gave birth, feeling the emptiness, and I just wept,” Jodie said. “Because it’s just as beautiful, as it is bizarre, as it is completely f–king normal and human. My body has more curves now, more folds, more softness, and all of that is the evidence of my biological powers. I just kind of grow more in awe of that every day.”

Jodie also reflected on her pregnancy style, saying, “I love gowns because you always feel like a f–king princess, whatever a princess wears in your head.”

Jodie then talked about wearing a gorgeous yellow Gucci dress to the BAFTAs last year while pregnant.

“But I had the most unforgettable accessory with that [yellow] gown: I love that my baby has been with me on my fashion journey. Every bit of press, every cover, I was pregnant. I can’t wait to share that with her when she’s older,” she added.
