The 24-year-old actress picked up the award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her work on Euphoria during the 2020 Emmy Awards, which were held on Sunday (September 20) in Los Angeles.

While he was introducing the nominees for Outstanding Comedy Series, a nurse wearing full PPE came out on stage to test the 45-year-old actor for COVID-19.
“We’re just legally obligated to get COVID tests every hour,” Jason joked as the nurse swabbed both of his nostrils. “Academy policy. But don’t worry, you won’t even notice she’s here.”
Jason then asked when he would have his test results and the nurse said “three to six weeks” as she left the stage.
The 49-year-old Marvelous Mrs. Maisel star Zoomed into the live show, where she was pictured drinking some scotch on a bed, placed on a balcony at her home, with her adorable Yorkie by her side.
Alex was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role as Susie Myerson on the popular Amazon Prime Show. The winner for the category was Schitt’s Creek‘s Annie Murphy.
In previous years, Alex picked up the same award in 2018 and 2019. She has also been nominated at the Emmys in 2008, 2013, and 2018 (she won here) for her voice over role in Family Guy.
Host Jimmy Kimmel called into Jennifer Aniston‘s house to check in on her after she left the in-person show to watch the rest of the show from home.
While Jimmy chatted with Jen, her Friends co-star Courteney Cox popped into the camera feed to say hello.
Courteney then said, “We live together,” after Jimmy questioned why she was there. Jen jokingly added, “We’ve been roommates since 1994.”
Seconds later, Lisa Kudrow showed up in the feed and then Jason Bateman, who was also at the Emmys studio earlier in the night, popped in as well. (If you didn’t know, Jen and Jason are longtime friends!)
Earlier in the night, Jenniferput out a fire on stage while presenting one of the first awards of the night!
Randall Park needs to the fine print a little better next time!
The 46-year-old Fresh of the Boat actor made an appearance in studio at the 2020 Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 20) alongside of an alpaca, wearing a cute little bow tie.
“I learned that when you read an email too quickly, the phrase, ‘You’re presenting with an alpaca’ looks a lot like the phrase, ‘You’re presenting with Al Pacino.’ Anyway…” Randall joked while taking the stage.
During a commercial break, the first trailer for Randall‘s upcoming Disney+ series WandaVision was released – check it out here.

The 52-year-old actor picked up the trophy for playing Dominick and Thomas Birdsey in HBO’s I Know This Much Is True and celebrated with wife Sunshine by his side.
“To be with these [fellow nominees] is such an honor,” Mark shared at the start of his speech after his “Wow” reaction. “You’re such beautiful performers this year, and beautiful people. I want to thank HBO. The Academy, thank you so much, and Derek Cianfrance, brother, you did something beautiful. You gave me these performances. I couldn’t have done it without you. It was a great collaboration.”
Mark went on, citing how the story relates to the world today: “Our story is about family. It’s about a man who’s fighting for his brother, who’s living with mental illness. It’s a story that’s common throughout so much of the United States and the world today, and it asks a big question: How are we going to deal, and honor, and take care of each other, and our most vulnerable people? We do that with love and compassion, and we do that by fighting for them, and that’s what we have to do today.”
He continued, “We have to come together with love for each other, and if you have privilege, you have to fight for those who are less fortunate and more vulnerable. That’s what’s great about America, our diversity, and the one thing I’ve learned in my family is that we are stronger together, when we love each other and we respect each other’s diversity.”
“We have a big, important moment ahead of us. Are we going to be a country of division and hatred, a country only for a certain kind of people, or are we going to be one of love and strength, fighting so all of us have the American dream? That’s what we’re facing right now, so go out and vote for compassion and kindness.”
Mark previously won an Emmy in 2014 for Outstanding Television Movie for The Normal Heart. He was an executive producer on the film.
