Alanis Morissette just announced some exciting news – she has welcomed a new addition to her family!

The 45-year-old singer and her husband Mario Treadway have welcomed their third child, a baby boy named Winter.

“he’s here. ✨🙌🏻🙏🏻❤️ Winter Mercy Morissette-Treadway. 8/8/19,” Alanis captioned the first photo of her little one. In hashtag format she added, “My whole life I dreamed of loving you three.”

Alanis and Mario are also the parents of an eight-year-old son named Ever and a three-year-old daughter named Onyx.

Congratulations to the happy family on the exciting news!

The full cast for the Broadway musical Jagged Little Pill, inspired by the Grammy-winning album by Alanis Morissette, was just announced!

Kathryn Gallagher, Celia Rose Gooding, Derek Klena, Sean Allan Krill, Lauren Patten, and Elizabeth Stanley will be reprising their roles from last summer’s sold-out world premiere at A.R.T. in Massachusetts.

The musical begins preview performances on November 3 ahead of an opening night performance on December 5. Academy Award-winning writer Diablo Cody wrote an original story for the musical and Tony Award winner Diane Paulus is directing.

Here is the synopsis: The Healys appear to be a picture-perfect suburban family — but looks can be deceiving. When the cracks beneath the surface begin to show, they must choose between maintaining the status quo or facing harsh truths about themselves, their community, and the world around them.

It’s official – the new musical Jagged Little Pill will be hitting Broadway in the fall and dates have been announced for the run!

The musical is inspired by Alanis Morissette‘s Grammy Award-winning album of the same name. Performances will begin at the Broadhurst Theatre on Sunday, November 3 and the official opening night performance is set for Thursday, December 5.

Jagged Little Pill features a book by Oscar winner Diablo Cody and the show is directed by Tony winner Diane Paulus.

Alanis Morissette just announced some exciting news!

The 44-year-old “You Oughta Know” singer is pregnant with her third child and it also looks like she is working on some new music.

“so much NEWness… ❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻,” Alanis captioned a photo of herself singing at a makeshift recording studio. You can clearly see her growing baby bump in the pic.

Alanis and her husband Mario “Souleye” Treadway are the parents of son Ever, 8, and daughter Onyx, 2. The happy couple got married back in May 2010.

The musical Jagged Little Pill, which uses the music of Alanis Morissette, is officially heading to Broadway!

The show had its world premiere production last summer at the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, Mass. and the musical been revised for the upcoming Broadway production. New York audiences will get to see the show in Fall 2019, though a specific date has not yet been revealed.

Jagged Little Pill used Alanis‘ music to tell a contemporary story about a seemingly picture-perfect family that was actually spinning out of control behind closed doors. The show deals with such issues as sexual assault, gender identity, and opiate addiction.

“We were quite happy with the work we did on our original musical, but you can always keep improving, and the changes we have made are many, many little ones that add up to a more streamlined, layered, and deeper show,” producer Eva Price told The New York Times. “The world has continued to change, and that has affected the writing and the direction.”

Casting for the Broadway production has not yet been announced, but the world premiere production featured Elizabeth Stanley, Sean Allan Krill, Celia Gooding, Derek Klena, Lauren Patten, and Kathryn Gallagher.

Gwen Stefani rocks it out onstage while performing a special set during the One Love Malibu Festival at King Gillette Ranch on (December 2) in Malibu, Calif.

The festival was set up to help the victims of the Woolsey Fire that devastated parts of California, destroying thousands of homes.

Courteney Cox, Demi Moore, Nikki Reed and Johnny Galecki served as presenters while Rita Ora, Linda Perry, Natasha Bedingfield, Robin Thicke, Alanis Morissette, Brandi Carlile, Taylor Hawkins and Angel Haze all the the stage for their own sets.

Katy Perry also served as a performer for the event and even outbid a fan at the charity auction for a date with her boyfriend Orlando Bloom!

The show features a completely new story from Diablo Cody and inspired by Alanis‘ music. The show starred Elizabeth Stanley, Sean Allan Krill, Derek Klena, Celia Gooding, Lauren Patten, and Kathryn Gallagher.

The show ran for 79 sold-out performances at American Repertory Theater’s Loeb Drama Center in Cambridge, the longest run of any A.R.T. production.

Fans from all 50 states and 26 countries traveled to see the show and the audiences gave a standing ovation every single performance for Lauren‘s rendition of “You Oughta Know.”
