Ireland Baldwin keeps her girlfriend Angel Haze super close on the red carpet at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards held at The Forum on Sunday (August 24) in Inglewood, Calif.

The 18-year-old model and 23-year-old entertainer held hands as they walked down the press line together.

“been so sick the past few days, lets hope the @mtv vma madness is a pick me up!!!” Angel tweeted earlier in the day. We hope she’s feeling great – she certainly looks great!

Angel is up for the Best Video with a Social Message for her video “Battle Cry” featuring Sia. Best of luck to all the nominees tonight!

The 37-year-old rapper wasn’t the only one wowing the crowd, Angel Haze and Pharrell Williams also performed on the last night of the festival.

Kanye performed at the festival earlier in the weekend and reports surfaced that he was booed by the audience during his 20-minute rant on stage.

“The audience immediately went crazy once the music resumed,” a source told Us Weekly, adding that the crowd had nothing but love for the rapper.

Angel recently confirmed her relationship with Ireland in a new interview with The Independent.

“An interracial gay couple, I mean that’s just weird for America right now,” Angel said. “We f–k and friends don’t f–k. I have never f–ked one of my friends.”

“There are still certain limitations for women,” she added. “If we were two guys, it’d be insane, negatively insane with the attention. With us it’s all being very positive, the media are like, ‘Oh they’re so cute, they’re best friends.’”

Cody Simpson celebrates girlfriend Gigi Hadid‘s 19th at her birthday party on Friday night (April 25) held at a private residence in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The happy couple danced the night away with her younger sister Bella, younger brother Anwar, Kylie Jenner, Ireland Baldwin, Angel Haze, Katharine McPhee, Joe Jonas with girlfriend Blanda Eggenschwiler, Jesse Metcalfe with girlfriend Cara Santana, and Chris Galya with girlfriend Heather Catania. DJ Dominic Carter spun tunes all night long!

The two entertainers were joined by Angel Haze, Jetta, Warpaint, Lily Allen, Neneh Cherry, Banks, Kacey Musgraves, Foxes and Cher in the issue. Here’s what the ladies had to share:

Ariana, on looking to the future: “If something great happens, I celebrate it for about�”I’m not even kidding�”a minute and a half. Then I start thinking about the next step.”

Iggy, on being ready to drop swagger: “I never dove into my personal experiences. I didn’t want to be vulnerable. I always felt like [rap] was escapism, but sometimes you can miss being human.”

Lily, on how she’s changed: “I have mellowed in some ways. Ten years ago, when I first started out, I had a lot to complain about. Whereas this time around, maybe because of the position I’m in in my private life, I feel more grateful for what I have. But that’s not going to stop me from saying what I think.”

Kacey, on her lyrics not being controversial: “It’s hard for me to swallow when someone says, ‘you’re a rebel, you’re an outlaw,’ because no, I’m not. The things I sing about are not controversial to me. The fact that they’re even considered controversial in this day and age is really sad.”
