'The Chi' Season 6 Part 2 - 4 Guest Stars Joining the Cast!

The Chi is coming back!

Part 2 of Season 6 of the hit Showtime series is set to air on May 10 on the network, and there are several stars joining the show.

The series, from Lena Waithe, is a timely coming-of-age drama series centered on a group of residents who become linked by coincidence but bonded by the need for connection and redemption.

In Season 6 Part 1, Emmett and Kiesha’s blissful blended union is tested by his perilous partnership with Douda, who is dealing with the fallout of Q’s murder and its effect on shifting loyalty of his inner circle. Victor’s tangled past impacts his new role as city councilman. Newlyweds Jada and Darnell fear for their son Emmett after he makes a desperate, life-threatening move. Rob and Tiff’s cannabis business and Jake’s apparel line took off, and Papa falls for an older woman while questioning his faith at the senseless loss of his beloved father. Kevin landed a big gaming opportunity in Los Angeles, leaving Maisha to fight for her big career move despite manager Jemma’s newly divided attention.

Four stars are taking on recurring guest star roles when Part 2 of Season 6 premieres.

Patrick Stewart Announces 'Picard' Final Season Premiere Date at Star Trek Day 2022!

Patrick Stewart steps out for the 2022 edition of Star Trek Day held at Skirball Cultural Center on Thursday (September 8) in Los Angeles.

The 82-year-old actor, who has played Jean-Luc Picard since 1987, was joined by his Picard co-stars Michelle Hurd and Jeri Ryan at the event, along with many other Star Trek franchise stars.

Wil Wheaton, the cast of Strange New Worlds - Rebecca Romijn, Celia Rose Gooding, Jess Bush, Christina Chong, Melissa Navia, and Babs Olusanmokun – as well as Prodigy‘s Kate Mulgrew and Brett Gray, and Lower DecksNoel Wells were also on hand.

One of the biggest piece of news from the annual event was the premiere date for the final season of Picard.

Debuting February 16, 2023, the final season will also reunite original stars of the Star Trek shows.

But, Patrick says, “it is not a reunion. It is an essential gathering of all of the most essential elements of ‘Star Trek: the Next Generation’ coming together to do what they do best.”

Paul Rudd Attends 'Ghostbusters' Premiere in NYC with Original Stars Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd & Ernie Hudson!

Paul Rudd hits the red carpet at the premiere of his brand new movie, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, held at AMC Lincoln Square Theater on Monday night (November 15) in New York City.

The 52-year-old recently crowned Sexiest Man Alive was joined at the event by original franchise stars Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson, and also director Jason Reitman.

McKenna Grace, Carrie Coon and Celeste O’Connor, who also star in the movie, were spotted on the red carpet too.

Guests at the premiere included Aldis Hodge, Jeremy Sisto, Jaimie Alexander, August Maturo, Brett Gray, Naomi Watanabe, Will Buie, Meg Donnelly, Chloe Flower, Questlove, and Jason‘s father Ivan Reitman.

Netflix's 'On My Block' Will End After Upcoming Fourth Season

Netflix has announced that the hit series On My Block will be ending after the upcoming fourth season.

The streamer has renewed the comedy series for just one final season, though it’s not clear yet when the final episodes will air, according to Variety.

The third season premiered in March 2020 and fans have been waiting on the edge of their seats for the fourth season. The previous season ended with the core friend group falling apart and everyone wants to know what will happen next.

It was reported in July 2019 that the cast negotiated sizable salary increases. After earning just $200,000 for seasons one and two, the show’s five main stars will be earning more than four times that amount for the upcoming final season.

Sierra Capri, Jason Genao, Brett Gray, Diego Tinoco, and Jessica Marie Garcia star in the coming-of-age comedy series set in Los Angeles.

The show will debut on Netflix on March 11, 2020, so you won’t have to wait much longer to see how things play out!

Netflix's 'On My Block' Cast Gets Big Raises for Season 3

The young stars of the Netflix series On My Block have been given big raises ahead of the start of production on season three!

Sierra Capri, Jason Genao, Brett Gray, and Diego Tinoco, the four original leads on the show, earned $20,000 per episode for seasons one and two. They will be getting $81,250 per episode for season three for a grand total of $650,000 for the full season of eight episodes.

Jessica Marie Garcia, who became a series regular in season two, also has been given the same pay raise.

The five stars will be bumped to $850,00 for the full season for a potential fourth season and $1.05 million for the full season for a potential fifth season.

The fifth season will begin production in mid-August, according to THR.
