Chelsea Cutler is on top of the world right now, and it’s all thanks to her talented pen and candid honesty.

The 26-year-old artist has been carving out her spot in the music industry since 2017, releasing poignant pop that’s as well written as it is soul-bearing. Her new album Stellaria is more proof of that.

Released in October, Chelsea‘s third album is her most honest yet. On it, she sings about the beginning of her relationship with her girlfriend, experiences with depression and the growing pains of life in your early 20s.

It’s another solid addition to her discography, which includes two collaborative projects with Jeremy Zucker and duets with the likes of Noah Kahan alongside countless solo hits.

Chelsea recently wrapped up an acoustic tour of Europe, and she’s gearing up to embark on her The Beauty is Everywhere Tour in early 2024. The tour will feature stops at some bigger venues than ever before, and there’s a lot to look forward to.

Before she hits the road again, we caught up with Chelsea to learn more about the album and tour.

She spoke candidly about how Stellaria differs from her earlier material, breaking down some of its songs and revealing what it was like to unleash such a confessional album.

The hitmaker also opened up about plans for the future, dream collaborations and the importance of being involved in music production as a woman.

Chelsea Cutler closed out 2022 with an incredible performance!

Moments before the clock struck midnight in the Eastern Time Zone on Saturday night (December 31), the 25-year-old singer took to the stage for a performance of John Lennon‘s song “Imagine,” which was broadcasted on CNN and on the Times Square live stream.

HBO’s Insecure star Dominque Perry takes the lead in the official music video for Kygo‘s latest single “Not Ok” featuring Chelsea Cutler!

The video marks the second time the 27-year-old DJ-producer has teamed up with renowned visual artist and Instagram sensation Sarah Bahbah as director.

The video also features appearances from Alexis Ren, RuPaul’s Drag Race‘s Gia Gunn, Wolfie Candy, Trevor Moran, Jenn Im, Ashley Moore, Theresa Hayes, Sophia Ali, Sara Cummings, Sierra Love, Clinton Moxam, Daniella Beckerman, Charvelle and Maddy Crum.

“Our desire to stay connected has formed a dependency on social media, a dependency that actually weakens our connection. Curated personalities become the ones we focus on, covering our scars with cheap glitter and painting our bruises with fake gold by way of escaping from our internal struggles,” director Sarah Bahbah said in statement about the Kygo video. “This music film is a reminder to step away from escapism and step inwards to self. Although we are creatures of connection, many have learnt to play the characters constructed by social media. In the midst of all the projected individual experiences, sometimes the most authentic and calming thing that can be done is to check in with yourself, take a breath, and call upon the ones you trust.”
