Nick Young made a brief statement on the leaked video where he allegedly admits to cheating on Iggy Azalea, recorded by his teammate D’Angelo Russell.

“I think it’s best me and D’Angelo handle our situation in a private manner. It’s something we need to talk about. What happened is what happened. We’ve got to work on it,” Nick, 30, told the media (via Bleacher Report). Nick made no mention of his fiancee Iggy, though she did publicly comment on her social media.

D’Angelo also spoke with the press about the recording.

“I am sorry about recording the video. I can’t repeat myself enough on that: I am sorry I recorded that video. I feel horrible. I wish this never happened….The thing is, we record ourselves doing dumb stuff all the time. On the road or home, wherever. We go back and watch what we did and said and laugh at ourselves. I guess I just never thought that these pranks we pull on ourselves could have bigger consequences. That was a big lesson I learned,” he said. When asked if he put Iggy and Nick‘s relationship in jeopardy, he responded, “Honestly I do.”

Iggy Azalea has finally responded to the tape that was made of her fiance, Lakers NBA star Nick Young, talking about other women he has been romantically involved with in the past.

In the video, the 30-year-old NBA star is talking with his teammate D’Angelo Russell, who appears to be recording the conversation without Nick‘s knowledge.

The surfaced video also seems to imply that Nick cheated on Iggy with a 19-year-old woman.

“hmmm i see D Angelo Russell is trending… I actually liked his film. Thanks bro,” Iggy tweeted in response to the video. Nick has not publicly commented. Nick and Iggy have been engaged since June of 2015 and are planning their wedding.

The video surfacing has reportedly caused tension in the locker room between the Lakers players, and has resulted in poor basketball performance.
