Gabby Barrett and Cade Foehner are parents!

The American Idol alumni and married couple have welcomed their first child together last week on January 18 they revealed on Instagram.

“Baylah May Foehner,” Cade announced the baby girl’s name with a photo on social media. “The Lord Jesus has given me so much that I scarce can believe it. Not only to be saved from sin because of His Gospel but to also be given a Wife who is not only my best friend in the whole wide world but who also has bore me a child.”

He added, “I am a blessed man beyond my understanding.”

Cade also commented on Gabby‘s Instagram post with the same image, writing, “What an honor to be your husband. Thank you for bearing me a child my Wife!”

Gabby and Cade announced they were expecting last year, after tying the knot in 2019.

The couple were just recently seen at the 2020 CMA Awards together.

The 20-year-old singer was joined on the carpet by her husband Cade Foehner, who she met while competing on American Idol.

Also walking the carpet was Charlie Puth, who will be performing alongside Gabby during the show. They will do their hit song “I Hope” and this marks their first time performing it together.

Gabby is nominated tonight for New Artist of the Year and her song is up for Single of the Year.

Last month, Gabby won a special award at the CMT Music Awards and a very cool person presented it to her – virtually of course!

FYI: Gabby is wearing a Talbot Runhof gown, Asos shoes, a Tyler Ellis clutch, and Jacob & Co. jewelry. Charlie is wearing head-to-toe Prada and he’s the first to wear a look from the collection.

Gabby Barrett slicks back her hair for a sleek ponytail as she arrives at the 2020 CMT Awards held at the Bicentennial Mall in Nashville, Tenn., on Wednesday (October 21).

The 20-year-old pregnant “I Hope” singer picked up the CMT Breakthrough Video Award, which was presented by Taylor Swift, who won the same award 13 years ago.

She won for her debut single, “Tim McGraw”.

Taylor Zoomed into the virtual broadcast to hand over the title to Gabby.

“That’s amazing! Oh my gosh. Okay, I don’t even know what to say because I didn’t really think that I was going to win,” Gabby shared in her remote acceptance speech.

She added, “But first, oh my gosh, my fake trophy in my hand right here, I would like to thank my Lord and savior Jesus Christ, because I wouldn’t be able to be doing what I love every single day without Him. So thank you, Lord. Secondly, all the fans that voted, thank you so much. That’s something that I really loved about country music coming into it was how loyal the fanbases are and how they just incredibly love the people that they love, so thank you guys so much.”

“I would like to thank my husband, my family back in Pittsburgh, my entire team … I’m so new to this, this is my first time receiving a television award, so thank you so much CMT,” Gabby concluded.

The 20-year-old singer performed her hit song “I Hope” with accompaniment from her husband Cade Foehner at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tenn.

Gabby and Cade met while competing on American Idol in 2018 and they got married in 2019. They now are expecting their first child together. Their daughter is expected to arrive in early 2021.

“I Hope” has become a rare country song to rise on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and it recently became a Top 10 hit.

Gabby recently became the first woman to have a solo song in the Hot 100′s Top 10 that also charted on the Hot Country Songs chart since when Taylor Swift achieved the feat in 2012 with “Red.”

Gabby Barrett and Cade Foehner are expecting!

The American Idol alums, who met during their run on Season 16 of the show in 2018 and wed in 2019, are expecting their first child together, People confirmed Sunday (August 16).

“We are very excited. The Lord has blessed us with a little one, and we’re really excited to finally be able to share the news with everybody and just have a big old family celebration about it,” Gabby said to the outlet.

The two are expecting a daughter, due early in 2021.

“I get to have two Gabbys! Ones not enough,” Cade said.

“[We're going to] create a culture of Jesus Christ around our kids and show how we are to live in accordance with his lordship over the Earth,” he explained of their family.

“We were in Texas visiting Cade‘s side of his family. And it’s funny, because I did not think that I was. Around lunchtime, I remember taking the test and my eyes nearly crossed! I was like, ‘Wait, is that two lines?’ I came running out to Cade and was just like, ‘Oh my gosh, I think I am.’ That’s all that I said, and he knew what that meant. I started crying, and it was very sweet,” Gabby explained of finding out she was pregnant.

She also revealed that it has been “challenging in a way of it not being normally how it goes” amid the pandemic.

“I have to go to some appointments, unfortunately, without my husband, which is really sad. But I mean, if that’s what keeps the baby safe, then that’s what we’re going to do. We’ve just been trying to find ways to really work with it, because that’s all we can do at this point.”

She also revealed her current craving: “I am very much into that salty-vinegar taste, that tart kind of bitter taste.”

Congratulations are in order for one American Idol couple!

Singers Cade Foehner and Gabby Barrett got married on Saturday (October 5) in Garrison, Texas, People reports.

“I spent a lot of time [in Texas] this summer with his family — it’s a great place to get off the grid and relax,” Gabby told People. “The venue is in a neat little private area down some dirt roads, which totally fits our style.”

“Texas is such a perfect backdrop for the start of our marriage,” she added. “The setting of our wedding in the woods really influenced the décor and feel of our big day.”

Fellow Idol alum Caleb Lee Hutchinson served as a groomsman, and Catie Turner was also in attendance!

Cade and Gabby met while competing on American Idol in it’s comeback season, and became engaged in March 2019!

The couple, who met as contestants on the show last season, just announced that they’re getting ready to walk down the aisle!

Gabby and Cade took to their Instagrams to share the exciting news with sweet pics from their engagement photo shoot.

“Foehner has a nice RING to it… 💍💕,” Gabby wrote.

Cade added, “Not a day nor hour more can I wait for you to be my bride. Ladies and gentlemen, the future Mrs. Foehner!”

Cade popped the question in a special place – the Los Angeles hotel room where they met for the first time while filming American Idol!
