Later in the day, the 27-year-old actress, who plays a lesbian in the film, was seen rocking a yellow beanie while walking on set.

Leighton was also joined on set by her co-star Gillian Jacobs, who was spotted chatting on the phone.

Leighton Meester and Adam Brody are set to star on the big screen together for the second time in the upcoming comedy Life Partners!

The 27-year-old actress and the 33-year-old actor previously worked together on the film The Oranges and they have since become a real-life couple.

Leighton and Adam will star alongside Community‘s Gillian Jacobs, Gabourey Sidibe, and SNL‘s Abby Elliott, according to Deadline.

The comedy follows “a codependent friendship between two very different girls — type-A Paige (Jacobs) and lesbian slacker Sasha (Meester). Paige has vowed that she won’t get married until Sasha has the same legal right and that works out fine until Paige meets Tim (Brody), a young and charming doctor. As a crucial vote on gay marriage approaches, the threesome struggle with issues of love, friendship, and loyalty.”

Joel McHale arrives at the 2013 PaleyFest for his show Community on Tuesday (March 5) at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 41-year-old actor was joined by his co-stars Alison Brie, Gillian Jacobs, Yvette Nicole Brown, Danny Pudi, Jim Rash, and the new writers for the show, David Guarascio and Moses Port.

“Thanks to all who came out for #Community’s #PaleyFest panel tonight,” Alison wrote on her Twitter account. “No, I was not drunk. Only drunk with chicken power. (#season1).”

Olivia Thirlby gets ready for her close up at the Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles’ Simply Shakespeare play reading held at the Freud Playhouse at UCLA on Thursday (September 27) in Westwood, Calif.
