'Halo' Season 2 - 13 Stars Returning, 2 Joining, 2 Promoted to Series Regulars!

Halo is back!

The hit Paramount+ series returns to the streamer for Season 2 on Thursday (February 8).

Via Paramount: In Season 2, Master Chief John-117 leads his team of elite Spartans against the alien threat known as the Covenant. In the wake of a shocking event on a desolate planet, John cannot shake the feeling that his war is about to change and risks everything to prove what no one else will believe – that the Covenant is preparing to attack humanity’s greatest stronghold. With the galaxy on the brink, John embarks on a journey to find the key to humankind’s salvation, or its extinction: the Halo.

Fans are very eager to know who is returning for the second season, and we already know who’s expected back – as well as some new faces!

Pablo Schreiber, Yerin Ha & More Stars Step Out For 'HALO' Premiere in LA

Pablo Schreiber meets up with a real life Master Chief at the premiere of his new Paramount+ series, HALO, held at Hollywood Legion Theater on Wednesday (March 23) in Los Angeles.

The 43-year-old actor joined many of his co-stars on the red carpet, including Yerin Ha, Olive Gray, Shabana Azmi, Ryan McParland, Natasha Culzac, Angie Cepeda, Kate Kennedy, Jen Taylor and Danny Sapani.

HALO game developer Kiki Wolfkill, Darryl Frank, Justin Falvey, Sean Callery and Nicole Clemons, Paramount Television President, were also at the premiere.

In its adaptation, HALO will take place in the universe that first came to be in 2001 with the launch of Xbox®’s first “Halo” game.

Dramatizing an epic 26th-century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant, HALO the series will weave deeply drawn personal stories with action, adventure and a richly imagined vision of the future.

Paramount+'s 'Halo' Series First First Teaser - Watch Now!

Paramount+ has dropped the first teaser for the upcoming HALO series!

The new series, based on the mega popular Xbox franchise of the same name is expected to be out in 2022, streaming on the network.

In its adaptation, HALO will take place in the universe that first came to be in 2001 with the launch of Xbox®’s first “Halo” game.

Dramatizing an epic 26th-century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant, HALO the series will weave deeply drawn personal stories with action, adventure and a richly imagined vision of the future.

The series will star Pablo Schreiber as the Master Chief, Spartan-117; Natascha McElhone as Dr. Halsey, the brilliant, conflicted and inscrutable creator of the Spartan super soldiers; and Jen Taylor as Cortana, the most advanced AI in human history, and potentially the key to the survival of the human race.

Additional stars include Bokeem Woodbine, Shabana Azmi, Natasha Culzac, Olive Gray, Yerin Ha, Bentley Kalu, Kate Kennedy, Charlie Murphy, and Danny Sapani.

'American Gods' Star Pablo Schreiber to Star in Video Game Series 'Halo'!

Pablo Schreiber is taking on an exciting new role!

The 40-year-old American Gods actor is set to star in Showtime’s upcoming series Halo, based on the Xbox franchise, Deadline reported on Wednesday (April 17).

He will play Master Chief, Earth’s most advanced warrior in the 26th century and the only hope of salvation for a civilization pushed to the brink of destruction by the Covenant, an unstoppable alliance of alien worlds committed to the destruction of humanity.

Yerin Ha will play a new character within the Halo world: Quan Ah, a shrewd, audacious 16-year-old from the Outer Colonies who meets Master Chief at a fateful time for them both.

Production is set to begin this fall in Budapest, Hungary.
