Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith do not celebrate their wedding anniversary anymore and now she’s explaining why.

“It’s more of a life partnership, so it’s not steeped in marital, that day,” the Red Table Talk host said during the latest episode of the show. “We don’t really celebrate that day anymore in that sense, because the context of our union is totally different.”

Jada continued, “Usually Will on New Year’s likes to be in an adventure in the world somewhere. There’s no telling where he’s gonna be. And I like to be inside. I don’t wanna be out in the world. He now has the freedom to go and have an awesome adventure of some kind.”

Will and Jada said “I do” on December 31, 1997.

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are having so much fun with their family this holiday season and they shared some great photos from Christmas Eve and Christmas morning!

“Jada LOOOOVES Christmas! I think she’s finally Rubbin’ Off on the rest of us. And this #Pixel3 got us lookin’ all Caramel Creamy! 😊 Merry Christmas Eve, Everybody!” Will captioned this family photo, which includes kids Trey, Jaden, and Willow, as well as Jada‘s mom Adrienne Banfield-Norris.

On Christmas morning, Will posted a photo of him and Jada in festive onesies. He wrote, “We look a 1970’s Cop Duo patrolling the North Pole! Claus & Rudy – Sleighin’ All Night! Slayin’ All Day!”

Jada shared a photo of her and Trey with his mom Sheree Zampino. She captioned the pic, “Mom, Bonus Mom and Sun for our Christmas Eve sleigh ride ✨.”

Jada Pinkett Smith Talks About How Losing Your Virginity Has Evolved Over Time

Jada Pinkett Smith is on the cover of‘s first-ever digital cover alongside her daughter Willow Smith and her mother Adrienne Banfield-Norris.

The Red Table Talk co-stars opened up about sex and dating norms in a video feature for the magazine:

Willow on today’s social scene: “I would say that most of my friends do have boyfriends. There’s a revolution in relating that’s happening.”

Jada on virginity: “You kinda went out with one guy and then you didn’t go out with that guy unless you wanted to kick it with them for a long time. My generation, you lost your virginity to your boyfriend or to your girlfriend. These days? You have young people that are like, ‘Look, I just wanna find a nice person.’ I’m like, ‘A nice person? That’s it?’”

Adrienne on getting married young: “When I was in high school, my last year of high school, I was pregnant and married. So my focus was a little bit different than everybody else’s.”

Jada Pinkett Smith Says She's 'Not Mature Enough' to Have a Divorce - Watch!

Jada Pinkett Smith is opening up about her thoughts on divorce.

The 47-year-old actress spoke about marriage and divorce alongside her mother Adrienne Banfield-Jones and Toni Braxton on an upcoming episode of her Red Table Talk series.

“For me personally, I’m not mature enough to have a divorce. I’m just not. I don’t think I would ever be mature enough. I don’t,” she said during their conversation.

“Because when you have to start going in, breaking up assets, that right there,” she started to say.

“When you have to start to divide things, separate, cut off,” her mom added.

“Let me tell you, that’s when the red table turns upside down and it won’t be red no more!” added Jada.

“This’ll be smashed in shambles. You know what I’m saying?”

Her husband, Will Smith, also opened up about the idea of divorce in an earlier episode.

“You know why I never got divorced?” he said.

“It’s cheaper to keep me,” Jada joked.

Jada Pinkett Smith Recalls 'Crying' During Wedding to Will Smith: 'I Never Wanted to be Married'

Jada Pinkett Smith is opening up about her wedding day – and it definitely doesn’t sound like her idea of a fairytale.

During Monday night’s (October 22) episode of her Facebook Watch series, Red Table Talk, the 47-year-old actress revealed that she felt pressured into marrying husband Will Smith back in 1997 because she pregnant with the couple’s first child Jaden.

“It was almost as if my mother [Adrienne Banfield-Jones] was like, ‘You have to get married,’” Jada revealed. “I was under so much pressure being a young actress. Being young, pregnant … I just didn’t know what to do. But I knew I never wanted to be married.”

Jada continued: “I was so upset that I had to have a wedding. I was so pissed…I went crying down the freaking aisle. I cried the whole way down the aisle!”
