Matthew McConaughey hit James Corden‘s couch alongside Reba McEntire and Jimmy Buffet on last night’s (April 4) The Late Late Show!
The 49-year-old Oscar-winning actor opened up about getting tricked into smoking real weed by Snoop Dogg on the set of their film Beach Bum.
“I did get Snoop’d on our first scene together. It’s a scene where I go to him and my character Moondog is going to get turned on to the magic weed, which he has,” Matthew recalled. “I had my prop weed, which was oregano – that was a good idea. The scene goes on for about seven minutes, we’re passing this joint back and forth and I’m starting to feel a little bit.”
“All of a sudden we yell cut and he goes, ‘yo Moondog, that wasn’t prop weed that’s Snoop weed – and I said, ‘ohhh sh*t’,” Matthew continued. “I don’t recall much of the next eleven hours of working. I evidently didn’t say one word of dialogue from the script for the rest of the night. I spoke very little English and rapped four rap tunes.”
