Anderson .Paak Calls Out GoldLink for 'Disrespectful' Letter to Mac Miller

GoldLink took to Instagram on Tuesday night (November 26) to share an open letter to the late Mac Miller and he’s facing a lot of backlash for it.

In the letter, GoldLink accused Mac of copying his album And After That, We Didn’t Talk for his album The Divine Feminine. He noted how they both featured collaborations with Anderson .Paak on their albums.

Anderson was not happy about the post and took to Instagram to share a since-deleted message for GoldLink.

“I would imagine yo weird ass posted up somewhere just like this when you decided to make that disrespectful, narcissistic, jealous grossly unnecessary post. Why you would do it I can’t even understand It. maybe your belt was wrapped around your Gotdamn waist too tight or maybe it was the choker cutting the circulation off to the brain,” Anderson wrote in his post.

Another Man Arrested in Connection With Mac Miller's Death

Another man has been arrested in connection with Mac Miller‘s untimely death.

The 26-year-old rapper passed away following a drug overdose back in September of 2018 and so far, one man was arrested for supplying Mac with counterfeit oxycodone pills containing fentanyl.

Now a 36-year-old named Ryan Reavis was arrested on charges of “fraudulent schemes and artifices” as well as “possession of marijuana, possession of prescription drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, weapons misconduct by a prohibited possessor, and manufacture of a prohibited weapon.”

According to a police statement released to KLBC-TV2, a physician’s prescription pad, prescription-only pills and drug paraphernalia were located during a search of Ryan‘s home.

Details about the man’s relationship with Mac have not yet be released.

Post Malone & Mac Miller Were Going to Make a Joint Album

One year after his untimely death, we’re learning about a project that the late Mac Miller was going to work on with a fellow artist.

Post Malone has revealed that he and Mac were going to record an album together.

“Mac was the first one that tweeted me. It’s so weird because I listened to him since the beginning,” Post said during a new interview with Beats 1′s Zane Lowe. “I was like, ‘Yeah, awesome. This guy’s cool as shit.’ Then to be able to meet him and become friends with him was just like, ‘I look up to you, and now we’re sitting here playing beer pong.’”

Post says that Mac sadly died before they could make progress on their album.

“We were going to make an album,” Post confirmed. “We were sitting there playing beer pong and we were like, ‘Let’s make a f–king album.’ Then we were coming up with names and then it’s so weird too. Because it was like a day, two days after he died. We were at an Airbnb in L.A. and all of a sudden the TV turns on, and on the TV and it wouldn’t stop. We tried disconnecting it and all this. Then we turned it off and then it came back on and I was just like, ‘This is weird. It gives me chills.’ I don’t know. What an incredible, honestly, what a genuine human being.”

Man Arrested for Giving Mac Miller Fentanyl-Laced Pills

A man named Cameron James Pettit, 28, has been arrested for supplying the late Mac Miller with counterfeit oxycodone pills that contained fentanyl, and ultimately led to his death.

“According to the affidavit in support of the criminal complaint, Pettit and others distributed narcotics to 26-year-old Malcolm James McCormick – who recorded and performed under the name Mac Miller – approximately two days before McCormick suffered a fatal drug overdose in Studio City on September 7, 2018,” the press release reads (via Us Weekly). “The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner later determined that McCormick died of mixed drug toxicity involving fentanyl, cocaine and alcohol.”

“While the death of any victim of the opioid epidemic is tragic, today’s arrest is another success for the DEA’s HIDTA Fusion Task Force,” Daniel C. Comeaux, DEA Los Angeles Deputy Special Agent in Charge, added to NBC. “Let our message be clear, if you peddle illegal drugs and kill someone, the DEA will be the voice of the victim. We will not rest until you face the justice system.”

Mac Miller was found dead in September of 2018 and his cause of death was released in November of 2018. He was only 26 years old. RIP.

However, fans took over and sang them for her.

Ariana had another tribute to Mac on her tour just a few months ago.
